C&A Drone Wash
HOW IT WORKS
Bringing Safer, Smarter Exterior Cleaning to the Mid-Atlantic Region and Beyond.
Drone Washing Vs Traditional methods
What is drone washing? It's using state-of-the art professional drone equipment to reach those way-up-high places to get them sparkling clean. Drones are fitted with pressured water lines that allow them to clean with strength, yet soft enough to clean siding, glass, roof shingles and more.
Drone Wash
- All work performed from the ground — no lifts, no ladders, no scaffolding
- Eliminates fall risk entirely
- No heavy equipment on-site, reducing property damage
- Controlled spray patterns protect signage, lighting, and sensitive equipment
- Lower water usage and targeted chemical application
- Minimal business disruption and faster service times
Traditional
- Requires workers on lifts, ladders, or scaffolding
- High risk of slips, falls, and overreaching on wet surfaces
- Heavy equipment can damage concrete pads, islands, bollards, and fascia
- Overspray can affect lighting, electrical components, and branding
- Higher water usage and more runoff to manage
- Slower, more labor‑intensive, and more disruptive to operations
Modern Soft Washing vs Traditional Pressure Washing
Modern Soft Washing
Low Pressure • High Efficiency • Surface Safe
Using low pressure, 200-300 PSI and specialized cleaning solutions, dirt, algae, mildew, mold, and organic growth are removed without the damaging effects of high PSI.
Safe for Most Exterior Surfaces – Ideal for brick, siding, stucco, metal, stone, roofing, signage, and more.
Gentle Yet Effective – Cleans without etching, stripping, damaging seals, or dislodging roofing materials.
Longer-Lasting Results – Eliminates organic growth at the source, helping surfaces stay cleaner longer.
Protects Your Investment – Preserves paint, coatings, mortar joints, and exterior building materials.
Uniform, Professional Appearance – Provides even coverage and a clean, consistent finish.
Traditional Pressure Washing
High Pressure • Higher Risk • +Surface Wear
Using 2,500–4,000+ PSI to remove dirt and buildup, high-pressure cleaning can present challenges for many commercial properties.
Potential Surface Damage – High pressure can etch, scar, or strip brick, siding, stucco, EIFS, roofing materials, signage, and window seals.
Increased Safety Risks – Often requires ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and technicians working at dangerous heights.
Inconsistent Results – High-pressure spray patterns may leave streaks, tiger striping, and uneven cleaning.
Higher Liability Exposure – Elevated work and high-pressure equipment can increase the risk of worker injuries and property damage.
Not Ideal for Delicate Surfaces – Older masonry, painted surfaces, oxidized siding, and roofing materials may be vulnerable to damage.
FAQ - Questions & Answers
What exactly is Drone Washing?
A professional cleaning drone connects by hose to a pump system on the ground. Water and cleaning solution travel up to the drone, which sprays the surface while our FAA-licensed pilot controls everything from the ground.
Will it damage my siding, brick or roof?
We clean all exterior facades using a low-pressure soft-wash process at approximately 300 PSI. Our drone system operates entirely from the ground, eliminating foot traffic on your roof and the need for ladders against your gutters, resulting in a safer cleaning process with significantly less risk of property damage than traditional method.
Can a Drone really clean as well as a person?
Yes. Our equipment consistently cleans up to 300 sq ft per minute and handles everything from gentle soft washing to heavy-duty pressure. Before-and-after images are available on website.
Is it safe?
Yes! And safer than traditional methods. Falls are a top cause of serious injury in the cleaning trades. With us, everyone stays on the ground. The drone has obstacle-avoidance sensors, and every flight follows FAA regulations and is OSHA compliant.
How much does it cost?
Every building and facility is unique, and we tailor our services to meet the specific needs of each project. Our team is happy to consult with you to develop a customized cleaning plan designed to protect and maintain your building’s exterior. For taller structures, our drone-based approach is often more cost-effective than traditional methods that rely on costly equipment rentals that can add thousands of dollars to a project. We look forward to discussing your project—contact us today to get started.
What surfaces can you clean?
We clean a wide range of exterior surfaces, including siding, stucco, brick, roofs, gutters, solar panels, dormers, patios, steeples, commercial buildings, and industrial warehouses. The drone-based system is especially effective for steep roofs and hard-to-reach areas. Our soft wash method specializes in cleaning historic buildings and unique architectural structures.
What about wind or rain?
We watch the weather closely. If conditions are too extreme, we reschedule at no cost to you. Our equipment handles moderate wind just fine, but we don't fly when it isn't safe.
Will this cleaning project interrupt my business operations?
No. We offer flexible scheduling options designed to minimize disruption to your daily operations. During business hours, we can focus on low-traffic areas, while scheduling early morning, evening, or off-peak work for high-traffic zones. Weekend and overnight service options are also available where permitted.
What payment options are available?
We accept credit cards, ACH transfers, and checks for your convenience. Please note that a 3% processing fee applies to credit card payments. For commercial projects, a deposit is required prior to the start of work to secure specialized cleaning solutions tailored to your building’s unique exterior needs.
Does someone have to be onsite during project?
Not necessarily. However, for commercial properties, we do require a pre-project checklist to be completed at least two business days prior to the start of the project. Access to water source will be required. This ensures we are fully prepared and able to begin work efficiently on day one.
Are you licensed, certified and insured?
Yes. We are FAA Part 107 certified, TRUST certified, fully licensed, fully insured for liability and chemical coverage, our drones are properly registered and Remote ID compliant. We also manage any required FAA airspace authorizations for your location to ensure full regulatory compliance.
How do I get started?
Request a site assessment. We'll visit your property, look at the surfaces, answer your questions in person, and give you a firm written quote with zero obligation.
